Temples In Chiang Mai Thailand Part 2 of 2

This is the second and final video in my two part slide show series on temples in Chiang Mai Thailand. If you missed the first part in the series you can find it here. This video mostly consists of pictures of various statues and shrines on the temple grounds itself. One of the most notable images in the slide show is the model of the Emerald Buddha statue, which should not be confused with the actual Emerald Buddha which is in Bangkok.

Here is an excerpt from Wikipedia on the Emerald Buddha:
“The Emerald Buddha (Thai: ??????????? – Phra Kaeo Morakot, or official name ???????????????????????? – Phra Phuttha Maha Mani Rattana Patimakon) is the palladium of the Kingdom of Thailand, a figurine of the sitting Buddha, made of green Nephrite[1] (rather than emerald), clothed in gold, and about 45 cm tall. It is kept in the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew) on the grounds of the Grand Palace in Bangkok.”
