1) Choose 12 photos that you think are worthy of your calendar. Try to choose photos that are special to the person you’re giving the calendar to. These can be snapshots of the two of you together, family photos, vacation pictures, or even photos of some of their favorite things. You can even choose a theme for the calendar and try to find photos that are in line with the chosen theme like “Jamie’s Favorite Things” and choose random photos 12 things that the person loves. If the calendar is going to be a birthday gift, for example, the theme can be “12 years of Birthdays” and you can include 12 different photos throughout the years of the person on their special day.
I purchased a few kits, the quilt magic tool, and I also bought wood frames for them that both catalogs sell to fit their quilt magic kits. The wood frames aren’t needed, since there is a material frame that you do as part of the design on each kit. But I just wanted the wood frames to match my decor. The first kit I made was a picture of birds on a bird feeder, but I see that they have various holiday pictures as well. Right now I’m working on one for my daughter that is a quilt block design that she picked out, since her decor is more of a country style. I also can’t wait to make a Halloween one, and perhaps a few for Christmas. The designs are all colorful and beautiful.
Taj Mahal. The symbol for India, a monument of love for the wife of Emperor Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, Mumtaz Mahal. The amazing architectural look of the structure made it a tourist spot in the country. Producing it on photo prints especially in large copies displays the beauty of the structure.
Photograph people often. Never take someone’s picture without first obtaining their permission. People say RandomTravelPics has nothing to do with travel pictures but that is not entirely true. When reviewing your travel pictures, these people will give you a lasting emotional connection to your travels, even if the faces do not seem very unusual at the time. Try to catch people that are just ordinary.
We all get a kick out of looking at pictures of ourselves from ten or twenty years ago when we were “cool”. Want to give your kids a good laugh? Show them pictures of you and your cool clothes and hairstyles from “back in the day”.
When you are traveling, never pack your medications in your checked luggage. Though your flight may be slight, there is always a possibility that your bags could be separated from you at landing. Prescriptions in your home country may not be available for replacement in your host country. So play it safe and be sure that all remedies from headache meds to pharmaceuticals are kept on your person at all times.
